Fishing Harbor
A unique asset at the port, the Fishing Harbor is on the north side of the Brownsville Ship Channel, about five miles (8.1 km) east of the Turning Basin. It consists of three 14-foot (4.2 meters) deep basins and over 10,000 linear feet (3,280 m) of docks, which house up to 500 fishing boats that call the Port of Brownsville home.
FISHING HARBOR ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Fishing Harbor Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Brownsville Navigation District regarding lessee concerns and fishing harbor security matters.
